This is a fine example of the Stevens 1040, a Dutch steel cruiser and offers comfortable accommodation for 6 people.
The boat, from the waterline upwards, was repainted in February 2006 and since then has been very carefully refurbished and mechanically serviced throughout. Two helm positions are incorporated, one outside on the rear deck and the other inside the saloon offering comfortable sailing in all weather. The windscreen folds down reducing the air draft to approximately 2.7 metres allowing navigation under low bridges.
Forward Cabin:
Two large berths with an infill section to convert to a large double berth with ample stowage beneath both berths. Ceiling light, 2 reading lights and forward opening hatch.
Galley:
A comprehensively equipped galley comprising sink with mixer tap, large work top area, 3 burner gas hob, eye level gas oven, 12/240volt fridge, drawers and cupboards, ventilation fan and 2 bright halogen ceiling lights.
Dinette:
Adjustable height dining table to seat 4 people comfortably. This area converts to double berth and has much drawer and locker space, ceiling light and ventilation/ escape hatch
Saloon:
L shaped settee with plentiful locker storage beneath, free standing wooden table with magazine rack beneath, 4 large deep lockers, Riviera gas heater, Stereo radio, 3 ceiling lights, 2 ‘wall’ lights, overhead Gebo ventilation hatch.
Inside helm:
